You do not need to be a member to shoot clays at Cacoosing, though the target prices are less for members. Members and non-members are welcome to shoot clays. You MUST be a member to use the rifle/pistol ranges, however.
To become a member of Cacoosing Gun Club, all you need to do is stop by the club anytime we are open for clays shooting (check our website for days and times) and speak to the person manning the desk. A single membership for someone age 18 or older is $75 per year. A family membership (member, spouse/partner, children under 18) is $125.00 per year. There is a one-time processing fee of $20.00 for new memberships.
IMPORTANT: Prior to using the rifle/pistol ranges, a member must first receive a short orientation from one of the club officers, directors or range officers regarding proper use the rifle/pistol ranges, safety procedures, etc. Anyone using the rifle/pistol ranges must sign in when you arrive, and out when you leave on the log book near the front door of the clubhouse and have his/her membership card openly displayed on his person (i.e. not in the truck or the shooting bag, etc) when on the range. Lanyards for that purpose are available to borrow by the front door of the clubhouse if you don’t have your own.
